not gonna wanna run to the pc everytime i wanna sync the mote to stream my xbox to another tv. idk, it would get confusing having 2 different xbox one remotes with 2 different dongles if their both paired (one to the pc one to the steam link.and what also paired to my xbox as well sheesh). if your steam link is close enough to your pc (which mine is) maybe this could work.
that or the only other possible solution i see is buying 2 xbox one dongles. im hoping this issue can be avoided in the future when mouse/kb works nativly on the xbox one itself. i only have 1 dongle for my 360 motes which was plugged into the steam link.
(i do use controller companion though) however the only issue i encounterd when i opened up the xbox app via steam link when it was mirroring my desktop was that it said "no controllers were detected" on the pc. It seemed pretty fluid to me, controlling the desktop with my 360 mote.
